The real difference is when your on the open road, and step on it to pass. The additional air flow will improve power, but not off the line. And I agree with hobie, you'll see more out of it with a combination exhaust. Breath better, excape better. I've owned alot of cars in my life so far, and installed K&N drop in's for most of them. Some cars I could really feel the difference and other not at all. With the K&N GenII I really FELT the difference. I did install the drop in first, not much difference, but the GenII I really did.
