Yes I had the same problem. I just pushed the plastic covers over the new lugnuts. They fit pretty snug, but will push over them.
You will need a pair of pliers to pull them off if you need to take a wheel off and I grabbed a lug wrench to fit the new nuts at the wrecking yard threw them both in behind the seat with the jack.
