Date Posted: 20:59:04 09/18/02 Wed OK, I have come to the conclusion that cranking the torsion bars all the way up is going to cost me in the long run. My front tires have begun to wear unevenly (heavy on the inside). I had it aligned after I did the t-bar crank and put the new tires on, so I thought it was fine. I've only got 4000 miles on the tires and it's pretty noticeable. So I went to NTB tonight where I had the alignment done and the wheels mounted. They told me that because the upper control arm is pushed to its' limit, they can't push the alignment any further to correct the problem. The tech told me that I would just have to rotate the tires about every 4000 miles and hope for the best with "those chunky tires". They rotated the tires and I guess I'll just have to deal with it. The high cost of 'going up' just keeps going up...... [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
