Sounds to me like you need a second opinnion!
If this guy is telling you that inside wear on the tires is OK and that there is nothing that can be done, THAT'S A CROCK!
I have my bars cranked, aggressive tires, and no strange wear problems.
If you are showing feathering on the inside, it is a toe out situation NOT negative camber issue.
Mine aligned just fine with bars cranked. The Z height was above spec. (duh?) but everything else was fine.
I would get a second opinnion from a different shop!
