Date Posted: 20:19:59 09/19/02 Thu okay so i went to the dealer to figure out my why my rear end isnt centered, and the idiots refuse to work on it cuz it had "after market parts"!!!! shackles, thats it. i measure my drive shaft at the rear and it wasnt centered. come to find out, it is supposed to be that way, it is supposed to be on the passenger side a little. also, i measured my frame at the rear of the cab and it was 41.5" and then the front was 43". and found out that it is supposed to be that way. when i did the measurements, i thought my frame was surely bent, but not so. now, my rear is still too far driver. well, when i had new leaf springs installed, there is an adjusment for the axel to make sure that it is centered. well, they didnt do that so my axel isnt centered no more!!!! i am taking it to another dealer tomorrow and telling them to fix it!! man, i could write a book about dealers and fixing trucks, mine has been in more than anybody i know. lol, -hobie [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
