 my vin says 134,522, that sounds like alot considering the crewcab wasn't supposed to come out till 2001, and the dealer had my truck delivered to it in august of 2000. so it had to be one of the early ones. i do know that they make the vehicles a while before the sell them and then destroy all the test ones...so does the number count those too, or does this number only count the ones for 2001? mabey it includes the ones made in south amercia? gm did release a press statement in 2000 saying that they excpect 1/2 of s-10's are to be crewcabs. and then the campaigned died. and we all know the s-10 has died and gm is the only car company that doesnt even advertise their small crew cab truck. so mabey they made a ton and then stopped makeing them. if they had 134,522 made in the summer of 2000, at that rate there should be well over a million made and i know there arent that many out there. so i wonder whats the deal?
