 I did it too, but I've gotta say with the K&N it DID make a difference. I liked this mod without a doubt. Just be careful not to screw up the 2 sensors in the unit. Otherwise it's pretty easy. I'd at least get the K&N drop in air filter before doing it, or you may not see much difference.
