Hi,
I was at GIT when Marcus was there, he did come accross as very annoying but I think that was because there was always people stroking his ego, but he did play fast.
When he first came I was in the room with him and T.J. during an open counsiling session and he was playing Yngwie licks "cleanly" around 4x fast, but any faster then that it was just muddy sluring of notes.
His guitar was an Ibanez Jem, played through the ADA MP1 into any amp. He used a super low action with .07's strings, I remeber he couldn't bend the strings and would use the whammy bar a lot.
I think I may have some camcorder footage of it.
