The problem with guitarists like Vinnie Moore and Joe Stump(amoung others) is that no matter how good they may be, they still sound like a reworked version of Yngwie Malmsteen.If Stump could've applied as much energy into being an individualist as he did shredding, he might have broken some new ground. Shawn certainly has his influences
but he seems to have carved a niche for himself, and is pushing his own musical boundries.
