She smiled at him, though it was sad in a way. She ached to touch him, but didn't. She had thought not too long ago that they had worked everything out. But now she saw that these feelings he had had very little to do with their relationship and more to do with himself. She couldn't change the way he saw himself, no matter how hard she tried. Lips parted, her musical voice spilling forth and reaching for his auds.

I would understand if you had to leave Aoshi. To leave in order to find yourself, in order to find a reason for being.

She wouldn't like it at all, but she would understand. She had been very lost once, sort of like he was now. She had only found herself when she had found him. Now he needed to find himself, no matter what he had to do to do it...
