Jim--

You might get a kick out of this story--
About a month ago, working out at the lake I saw my uncle carrying what I thought was a single-shot shotgun, a box of shells and earmuffs. He beckoned for me to follow, and so naturally curious, I went. He loaded a round and handed me the rifle, a devilish glint in his eye. Taking aim at a cinderblock roughly 100 yards off, I sqeeeeeeeezed the trigger...and...BLAMMMO!!! The last time I heard anything that loud was at the Ft. McCoy arty range. Levering the brass out, the designation ".45-70" gleamed up at me. I went through another five rounds before my shoulder hurt too badly to continue. The recoil was vicious, namely because the weapon weighed maybe six pounds. Simply beautiful.

Crossada: I can't wait to see CS's evolution of the Crossada. My 2nd gen Crossada (and all of its glorious scratches and wear) occupies a special place in my arsenal.

Lastly, have concrete plans been struck for the August seminar in Michigan? (Grand Rapids I think?) And what can we look forward to in the way of...fun? ;^)

I look forward to finally meeting you face-to-face sir; that we all may train, raise glasses and celebrate our existence as the NEO-JAEGERS.

IXL, UXL!!!

Ryan
