Geeze, Ford can't figure out how to put enough air in their Explorer's tires so they don't fall apart or put gas tanks on a Crown Victoria where they won't burn a Cop to death when rear-ended.

On the topic of the great american automobiles, I was talking to a friend of mine and he was telling me that one time he was visiting a GMC facility and they had to bring in a shitload of S-10s because a few of the line guys had put transmission fluid in the place of motor oil and vice versa. Not accidentally either. Apparently they had got a betting pool started to see how many S-10's they could do this to before someone noticed.

But hey, they're union workers and many union workers are nearly impossible to fire, regardless of how shitty their work is.

I saw someone post an article on doomsday rifles. If I were pressed, I'd have to go with a small, bolt action .308, probably a ruger 77 compact. I'd outfit it with a scope and a pair of back-up sights.

Anyone catch the Lewis-Tyson fight? I split the cost with a few friends and delighted in seeing leg iron mike get his face turned into hamburger before being KOed in the 8th. Plus I won $110 on the fight.
