Subject: 1999 Ford Taurus

My '99 Taurus had a major transmission failure (without warning) @ 62,000 miles. I had the transmission rebuilt by Aamco in July 2002. Within one month of the this repair, I have been experiencing engine idle and surging problems with this same car. I have had it to two Ford dealerships for diagnostics and driveability testing. No one can tell me what is wrong. The last dealership and I agreed upon having the engine decarboned. There has not been a change. I've been chasing this for almost a year. I have replaced the spark plugs & wires, air cleaner, fuel filter (twice), IAC valve, TPS, had the fuel system cleaned, decarboned the engine, changed the PCV valve, checked for vacumm leaks, checked all the grounds and the diagnostics at the delearships showed no codes. Any suggestions or similiar experiences?
