I can tell you from EXTENSIVE experience that unless the lower intake was removed and the deposits manualy removed, the gunk is still in there. The snake oil won't touch it.
Carbon deposits (actually fuel additives)usually cause cold start/ cold driveability problems,. Pop the injector rail out and look down in the ports and at the tips of the injectors first. I filled an 8 oz mason jar with deposits from one car with less than 90k on it run exclusively on no name premium. If the snake oil actually worked the engine would sieze trying to injest this crap......
