Ok, not so usual as of late.

I have found that the rust spots are similar to the previous generation.

1. Under the gas cap between the filler spout and the outer fender well.

2. Fender wells not such a problem with that generation.

3. Try pulling off one of the front mud flaps and checking ebhind that for dirt. Some cars get bad. If there is dirt pull the other one and flush both accordingly.

As for the self adjusting clutch, my 95 has 90K on it, and there is something going on with the clutch. I and a friend who is factory trained can not figure it out. Every morning when the car is at air temp (lately 60 to 70), when I go the release the clutch it chatters for some reason, but once it has warmed up the problem does not occur?!? No idea. Is was thinking it was the springs getting weak, but why would it go away after the first couple time shifting.

No idea. I miss the old cable (manual adjusting) style. I never had a problem with those, just a replacement once in a while.

Mike
