Subject: OK, enough with the football talk.

What's this?!? I come back after many weeks of carrying out evil plans to find the castle all shut up and dusty, no food in the fridge, and the jacuzzi empty? And people are talking about FOOTBALL???? Oh, no. This just won't do. Nope. (No offense, AP;)

The White Knight is off on a crusade and may not be back for a long, long, time. Ditto for the Pink Knight. The Wandering Sage has disappeared. These things I know.

I'm not sure where everyone else has gotten to, though. I'm pretty sure Phae is still here. Or at least she is part-time�the answering machine is clogged with messages, all for her. (I'm actually a little hurt that not one of those messages are for me. And who is this Tim McGraw guy, anyway? But I digress.)

Well, I'm moving back in. Until Churchy gets back and can mind his castle, I'm gonna castle-sit. Which means no more talking about football. Sorry, AP.

And you know what ay-lse? We're moving that nude portrait of Nicholas Brendon out to the garage. *slaps Jinxy on the back of the head* Jinxy, get a dustcover for that sucker. Wait, better yet, take it to Mailboxes Etc. and send it to Rachel at Uni! It's her portrait anyway, she must have forgotten to pack it when she left for school. (Good thing Churchy never saw it; I think he'd be nonplussed and possibly offended.)

And we're redecorating. Just temporary stuff, nothing that can't be easily undone for when Churchy gets back. I'm ditching the cable in favor of a satellite dish and I'm moving that tacky big-screen TV to a different room and setting up extra-wide plasma flatscreens. And we need an industrial-sized, professional juicer in the kitchen. *sigh* I've got a lot to do.

A.P. and I were just amusing ourselves while EVERYONE ELSE WAS GONE!!! And I do not want him to give up on the BFFL recaps - they are funny and entertaining, even if you are not a sports fan!

So Tim called while I was away. Hmmm, maybe I'll call him back, maybe not - let him marinade a little .... stew in his own juices ..... hehehehe channeling Spike here. I love to channel Spike on a Xander board because, well because it's wrong!

Like what you've done to the place Glory! So when's the party? :-.)

My anti-footballness probably came out sounding harsher than I meant it; I certainly don't want to party-poop if people are having fun. I was just surprised and dismayed at seeing the castle so neglected. No offense to anyone, I just hate football (and all professional sports) and all it represents. It's bad enough that it's so pervasive in RL, I was just upset at seeing it creep into Buffy fan boards--which I had thought would be a safe place to get away from it!

Anyway, the Castle's a big place, if you guys wanna talk sports I'll just head for the jacuzzi! :)

And AP, where have you been?
