Thus begins the game of assortment ratios. So far SOTA said they've got about 2 sets + 2 per case, which seems like an ideal arrangement...for now. I'm worried that a few series down the line, when the REAL obscure characters show up (Gen, Adon, Remy, etc), the ratios may be changed. I mean, the first wave consists of all very strong choices, whom anyone who has played SF should recognise. But later on, who knows? Resaurus had a few figures that didn't move regardless of player colour.

I do agree that they should just filter out those who seem to be happy with the figure no matter what it looks like, but the problem is, how do you define who the hardcore fan to listen to is? And even between fans, there's the regular hardcore variety, and the super-anal obsessive, nothing-is-ever-perfect uber geek who'll denounce the figure because it's just a smidgen the wrong shade of blue.

On AF there are those who say that Ryu's muscles are all wrong and all that. I think they're alright. Who do you listen to?

I mean, I'm hardcore, but I'm usually happy with a good facial likeness and sexy female figures. Anything over that is a bonus.

I am not going to tell them what they should do

Resaurus, hasbro and Mattel are (were) "professionals" too, and they've botched up before.

My wish is for this line to follow the footsteps of Simpsons or Muppets: lots of source accuracy and character range. I don't know about the USA, but I'm pretty confident that they'll do well in Asia and Japan. SF has been a long-awaited toy property for many fans.

I know I'll be buying everything. Again. I hope.
Then again I'm also thinking of getting the Jazwares ones even tho I'm not too happy with them. Tht's the curse of being an obsessed fanatic, i guess.

>PS - I already pre-ordered myself a full set from

I still don't know if anyone'll be carrying the line here! We got their Tomb raider figures, and most SF gashapon is showing up, so I'm really hoping they will too.
