President Kimball's general conference address, "The False God's We Worship?" It's one of my favorite of his. Yeah, I feel like people such as your husband will eventually be like Mormon, who fought with his strength, but not with any hope, for the wickedness of his people. If we were a righteous nation, God WOULD fight our battles, but we're not. So what is a good person to do?
I respect your husband's feelings. I don't necessarily agree, because, as you already know WELL by now, I disagree with the whole war. But I know that there are a lot of people such as him who did it for honorable reasons. I have no problem with that.
