I think Kerry would have been a wee bit more careful about a war since he at least had seen one up close and personal...reguardless of what we think of him at least he didnt do what Bush did(hide).
Not that Kerry was that great of a leader in the military....but he did volenteer to go and Bush not only didnt volenteer to go but he hid so he would be forced to go...and if he had be a regular Joe he would have more then likely gone to jail for not going.

If Kerry would have avoided this war or at least delayed it and that in turn saved lives....then it would have been worth it....also I dont beleave the repub congress would have let him get away with the passing of the Patriot Act and the formation of Homeland Security...not that he wouldnt have wanted it....I just dont think the repub controled congress would have gone for it if it came from a dem president.

It just seems like right now in the current climate of the DC crowd that the dems are trying to stop this patriot Act thingy a wee bit more then the repubs...because for the repubs their man(Bush) is the man...what ever he wants they are going to go for because he is what they had hoped for...a man of god...a man that prays...a man that they can trust blindly....or so it would seem.
Can you imagine how hard it is for them...to give up that dream,...that hope? To do so will crush their hearts(the regular everyday repubs that are good and decent and honest people). The others...the ones that in it for the power only...welllllll......I think they know exactly what is going on.

I liked McCain until he because Bush's man. I'm disappointed in him. I voted for him in the Repubicain primary the first time Bush jr ran.

I beleave with McCain there would have been more of a slowness going into a war. He does KNOW what it is like.
He was a POW for what..? 7 yrs?

anyway
I agree with you that non of them are really going to change anything.
It seems like ALL politicans go nuts once they get a little power.
Power goes to peoples heads...even people with the best of intentions in the begining.

well I gotta go and get some rest I may have to be at work early early early.

I went to see Xmen 3 today with my familly. LOVED it.
But but but....you HAVE to stay through ALL of the credits to see an very very very intersting ending that changes everything!

Cheers and Blessings
Jean
