To be sure, I am not talking to our President's integrity. My response in part was to Bee's comment toward a wife's reaction, to say an equal earlier reaction may not have been so untoward.
Do I respect our President; yes. Do I respect Hillary for tossing a lamp without damage; yes. They are perfectly perfect human beings!
Importantly, I am talking about those who would downplay driving drunk. I don't believe our President is doing that. I don't believe President Clinton is doing that. I don't believe any lamp-tossing Hillarys are doing that.
How much more clear may I be?
Sigh...
And yes, I'm a victim of a drunk driver, but that is not why I object. Too many children and adults die in auto accidents. Countless perish at scenes when someone responsible is under an influence and lives to walk away.
Yes, it can be a bad choice and alcoholism is a disease; looking past it doesn't help.
