"for him to be able to forgive and move on, would bring him even more peace"
I agree with this part of your statement!
I am glad that I know that there is forgiveness through Christ.
I am also glad my sins arent known by millions...other wise there is a chance I would(any of us) could be in the boat of being judged to the point of NEVER finding forgiveness within our culture.
I made stupid mistakes in my youth.
The bigest thing I disagree with this whole discussion is the idea that protesting a war(not talking about Ms Fonda here but regular people) is giving aid and comfort to the enemy. IMHO it is the responsibility of any citizen to step up to the plate and be heard IF you feel a war is wrong.
Wars kill thousands of not only soldiers on both sides but the innocent as well. Keeping ones mouth shut is not a good thing if you beleave with all of your heart and soul that a war is wrong. Neither is ONLY writing your congress critters enough IF you have the ability WITHIN the law to do more.
As far as the theatre owner boycotting this show?
Its his theatre he can do anything he wants.
Our theatre owner is a Democrate and a very very very nice caring and concerned person. He walks the walk of being a person who cares about his community and country(he and his darling wife,...Ive meet and talked with both).
He had Michael Moore's Farenheit 9-11 movie at our little theatre(one show one night) but he also let the other side have their show there the next week(one show one night)..you know the Movie Celsius 41.11?
I watched both.
I dont agree with not allowing both sides to have their say...but if it is your property it is your choice.
