...it really isn't much of a better place.

May the royal We stand and be counted.

As far as I have established, Kathy...Bee, Eppy and I share disparate views and are okay with that. We are similarly okay with being passionate of opinion, working through each thread--some days it takes two or three 9weeks--insert laugher] rather than one. Good gravies, so what.

Should any detractors perceive either Eppy or Bee as misrepesenting the gospel intended for an LDS political board, let me remark this much, please:

I have been so well pleased to find LDS members who will engage with me, gloves off, on any topic. Neither have pooh-pooed me, called me an anti-Mormon, looked down upon me that I am a non-member. Their political posts, their passion for their positions is something I see as quite separate from what I trust is their sincere love of the gospel.

Since when can both not be okay? Thanks to people before me, I have the vote. Thanks to people before me I've learned it's okay to say what I think. I trust any LDS person here has that same gift.

So what's the bigger beef, Kathy? Is it brouhaha behind the scenes, via e-mail complaints about us? If that were true, certainly numbers of folks would be here to make the change they wish, to face us directly as a group or individually.

In sum, is this a court of love devoid the court and an opportunity to answer our detractors?

Debbie

Asking you take this as my protest in disagreement with what I understand you to be saying, and nothing more, dear heart.
