Subject: This is not what we hand in mind.

Previously we made an attempt to save the politics board. It had become full of profanity and bickering, and such a negative place that many didn't even want it connected with the regular Znotes board.

Now the profanity is gone, the bickering has changed tones, but it really isn't much of a better place. The tone on the board is such that many of the regulars of the board, and even myself, the administrator, do not enjoy in any way being here.

A decision has been made to change the password. Then members will be invited to join. Initially the users will be by invitation only. As we build a community that has variety of styles, opinions and personalities, older users will be invited back. For now we feel it is important to change the current tone of the board, and this is the only way we can think of doing it.

We would like the board to have a broader tone, with more discussion of principles of government and current events, how they effect us, and what responses we might make, how we can make a difference.

The password will change late this evening. At that time, I will begin emailing the new password.
