that we on this board all need to work on it I ment we all in our world need to work on this.

I have been very sad by the news of the two little girls that were stabed to death by one of the girls father...he killed his own little 2nd grade daughter and her best friend..stabbing them both more then 15 times each..stabbing his own little girl in both eyes...then just the other day there was a story of a 17 yr old molesting, beating then leaving for dead a little girl. He put her into a plastic recyling box and put it in a dumpster at a abandonded dump and covered her(recyling bin) with rocks and bolders.
It was a mircle that she was found alive and will make a recovery from her physicle injuries..she identified her attacker.
There has just been countless reports in the news in the last month of people(many of them parents) killing children and it has saddened me a great deal.
I just see it as a side effect of the hate and anger that is building in our world(not on the board but it is sneaking in little by little).
Correct me if I am wrong but I beleave the scriptures talk about in the last days mothers would seek the lives of their daughters and daughters their mothers..and fathers would seek the lives of their sons and sons their fathers.
I was also told that the scriptures say we would comsume our children...but I dont know what scripture that is or even if it is one..unless they are talking bout the same one I just mentioned(seeking the lives....) and they just put it in their own words.

Having said all of that I do agree with you that there is much good in the world in the small things and the big things good people do to help one another.
I see the care and the concern many good people have for each other and for compleat strangers.

But I am begining to see more darkness(not more darkness then light mind you) creeping into many different areas of life.
I see such anger and hate towards an entire people because of the actions of one man. I see anger and hate towards an entire religion bacause of the actions of a few extreamist from that religion.
I am beginging to see because of this colective anger and hatred our whole culture comming apart at the seems and feel helpless to do anything to stop it except to be different in my own life and teach my children to be different.
(My little son and I yesterday watched Ruby Bridges..he was floored that those sorts of things happened and not to long ago...he was amazed that those sorts of things happened to people when I was just a little girl).

Deb I am so very sorry If I convied the idea that I was reprimanding this board...I ment to convay the idea that we all(all of us humans) need to be aware of how beguiling it is to just follow along with the hate and the anger that is seeping into ALL segments of our world. I hope we can all remain true to our knowledge that we are all important and loved by our Heavenly Father. Maybe we can make a difference by being an example of love and caring and compassion.

But my mindset at the time of the post was with those poor little girls of the last few weeks and how such anger hate and violence can rip apart all that we hold dear and it was my hope that we(the world not just the board) could do more to advoid hate and anger about one group or another.

Your are very right Kathy is a wonderful person and we should all stand up for her.
