Subject: mainly what foods are and can be
In reply to: stan 's message, "are you worried about bacteria?" on 16:06:46 04/28/07 Sat

made from beneficial bacteria and how to store same and if there were any indications that it would be against the WOW. Chuck did point out a few that I use without thinking about how they are made such as vinegar and buttermilk.

I had a longer response to Chuck's and tried three times to post it.

What I am trying to do is upgrade my storage to be more beneficial healthwise; such as sprouting wheat and beans for the enzymes, then either eating the sprouts or juicing them. Making amazake out of rice since powdered milk just gags me.

Using sprouted grains in breads, and so on. I am aware that the basic food storage items are there for survival, but you run into some health problems when you don't have live, fresh foods, or the digestion of same is difficult and can cause allergies.
