I also read the hard copy my parents were given nearly 35 years ago. Historicity aside, what sets them apart is that
while there has been discussion among the membership (such as here for example) about the erosion of the Constitution,
and seeing it happen, it was predicted a long time ago.

We never seem to learn the lessons. Israel wanted a king instead of Jehovah. Instead of getting the higher law, the Children of Israel got the Ten Commandments. Christ was crucified. I see a pattern here...not just of apostasy from God but from His version of secular law.
