Jeff, you might want to check your graphics out first; they appear to be displaying at random... Let me know if you need help.

Sorry I haven't been real helpful in that regard. I have been promising a Satyros bio on my page for months now... guess I'll have to get busy.

Don't you get free web space from Prodigy? The Geocities pop-ups appear to be throwing errors.

Also, I love the Luftigel graphic on the home page, but it could probably stand to be compressed a bit. Again, let me know what help you want, and we'll get the nuts-and-bolts snags ironed out. First chapter is a good start!

What the fuck?!! It all seemed to be ok the first couple times I checked, but I saw the graphic wack job. Damn it...I could use the help but I sure as hell don't know what to do.

I do have one...but I lost my FTP transfer software. I did pick up coffee FTP direct..but it keeps asking for host name and address....I don' fucking know...as I tried to get a new FTP file manager I ended up getting sent to Geocities and I decided to just get it up.

I'd rather have something easy to just download and be done with it. Its hard enough to write out the material let alone work the tech bugs out. So I could use all kinds of help. I don't even know where to start.

Whaaaaaawahhaaaaaaaa

Part of your problem is using Microsoft Publisher. Despite the name, it's a bitch to use.

Tell ya what: Find out what your hostname, address and password are (Hostname is probably something like ftp-www.prodigy.net, address is probably something like ~jnerone, and password is probably the same as your sign-on password) or find your Prodigy FTP app, and I'll try to take a look at your code. Coffee should work fine for file transfer, but Prodigy's ftp app should be incredibly simple to use if you can find it. Try searching in their Members area for more help.

I am sure I can fix your code, remove all of the Microsludge, and maybe set it up more like a simple template so you can edit in Notepad. Or you might try FrontPage Express if it's lurking on your machine someplace.

If you want to stick with Geocities, I think Curt will be your best resource, as he has used them in the past.

p.s. don't post your passwords and stuff here, just in case

I hear ya Ken. I grabbed my old version of coffee cup FTP, I just need to find out what is the host name and address. If I'm still not successful, I'll contact you and get some help.

YES!!!....thanks it worked!! I had tried address but kept getting a winsock error. It was the hostname part that I was fucking up.
Guys forget the geocities site. I'm going back to my original site: http://pages.prodigy.net/jnerone/

I noticed an odd code writing showing up at the top of the chapter page. I tried reloading the page then refreshing but it still shows up. Anyway, I also changed the 'recent chapter' page and the rewrote the first chapter.

Rather then just write it as a story, I wish I could come up with something different. Not to copy Ken's journal entries, which is really good, and adds to the fantasy of being decoded still. Other then the first person approach which I don't want to do, its not like the guys had a personal secretary to write down all the adventures, so I am a loss.

Oh well. Thanks Web Fairy....thank you! I heard from Ken any other FEEDBACK would be appreciated.
