Subject: For any man who has the balls Author: Jeff [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 13:32:57 02/18/03 Tue I offer a challenge to any of you yahoos to create some sort of lineage to your hogalum character. I found a greek name site and am now plodding away at the family line of Satyros. Atticus (Icarus) Icarus(Nestor-Titus-Phineas{girl's name}) Nestor(Thanos-Adrian-Tressa) Titus (Zeth-Martin) Phineas Satyros+Ian McPhie = (Conner-Fergus)McPhie Fergus McPhie (Twins= Angus-Hamish) For whats its worth I think the name Arcadia should belong with Valkusian. I would also suggest IF Valkusian's line has a daughter, she is very insistant that her last name remains Valkusian. I also suggest that the Valkusian line tends to have just one child at a time. I hate to say it Ken, but I can't imagine Phineas being married..not to say he doesn't have a child, although somehow you'd have to make things legal AND save face in order to not have it known of having a child out of wedlock. Any ideas??? Magnetron is unconsciously pining for his one true love, Henrietta, his childhood sweetheart. Henrietta thinks Magnetron was killed in the war, and already married and moved away. Magnetron doesn't remember her consciously, but since returning from the war, he has remained faithful to her distant memory. Valkusian will one day hypnotize Magnetron, causing this memory to resurface, and Magnetron will go a little crazy trying to seek her out. I certainly don't want to tell you how to play Magnetron but I'd ask you to consider that during that time period, how one is perceived and accepted in society is a BIG deal. Many books were written about etiquette and social graces as more people were moving up to middle class status due to the Industrial Age. Even if Magnetron didn't care, maybe Henrietta would or the other heroes might. I can imagine Mentiac being upset if there was a child out of wedlock and wanting to discuss 'a story' to tell others, afterall Mentiac is described being a socialite-he would be concerned and stress to Magnetron 'how it would look to others'. That part makes sense. Except I don't see Mentiac being all that concerned either. He is a well-respected scientist, but not necessarily respectable. I wrote a lot about Anton's immediate family and traced it back a generation. Valkusian is a decendant of Rousseau, the philosopher. The name comes from his Austrian grandfather, a general of the Napoleonic wars. Why don't you also trace Satyro's family back a generation or two. It will probably inspire an adventure or two. Oh yes, I bet you did..you wrote and wrote and when you thought you couldn't write, you pushed yourself to write even more...yes, I remember getting all that. You wrote SO much about Anton...I believe Ken and I were dumbstruck and overwhelmed with his life, his family, his solo adventures and his diary of his journey into HELL and had a standoff with Belzebub himself. That was SO uncanny. I think I'll go back and reread...oh, wait.....I NEVER GOT ANY OF THAT!!! How about sending us that info. so we don't have to make shit up when Ken uploads the Valkusian bio.
