Subject: Jazzlesson II (Chord-2)

Setelah memahami dan mempraktekkan lesson II (Chord), kami
lanjutkan dengan Inversi Chord mulai dari kunci C Triad
(tiga nada).
C major (I) = C-E-G, inversi pertama E-G-C, kedua G-C-E
D minor (II-)= D-F-A, inversi pertama F-A-D, kedua A-D-F
E minor (III-)= E-G-B, inv. pertama G-B-E, kedua B-E-G
F major (IV) = F-A-C, inv. pertama A-C-F, kedua C-F-A
G major (V) = G-B-D, inv. pertama B-D-G, kedua D-F-G
A minor (VI-) = A-C-E, inv.pertama C-E-A, kedua E-A-C
B minor diminished 5th (VIIo/VII-b5) = B-D-F, inv. pertama
D-F-B, kedua F-B-D.

Cara melatihnya adalah memainkan chordsnya dan diarpeggio
(play chords and the single tone of the chords) keatas dan
balik kebawah.
Dicoba juga system I,II-,III-,IV,V,VI-,VII-b5 disemua tangga nada, chords dan inversinya.
Contohnya mulai dari D:
D-F#-A, F#-A-D, A-D-F# (I)
E-G-B, G-B-E, B-E-G (II-)
F#-A-C#, A-C#-F#, C#-F#-A (III-) dst.

Lebih baik lagi kalau dilatih dari C, terus dari C#, terus
dari D, dari D#(Eb), jadi secara chromatic. Keatas dan balik
lagi kebawah. Gunanya adalah supaya kelak bisa memainkan
lagu di ke 12 tangga nada. Ini juga sekalian pelatihan untuk
bisa cepat tranpose.

Coba melatih lesson tersebut, se-waktu2 setelah Anda hafal
inversi2 chords atas dasar major scale, it will make "click"
dan Anda akan mulai memahami dasar2 memainkan melody maupun
cara berimprovisasi yg baik.
Jika Anda ingin memainkan chords2 seperti Ab+7, C#alt.,
F7#9, Eb-maj7, D9sus4,Fmaj7/G, pokoknya jazzchords dgn
macam ragam optionsnya dan inversinya yg complex,
Try to practice the triad chords first till you memorize and
understand the structure of triad chords then later on we
can add the 7th.
