Hi
My papillon and poodle both had impacted anal glands that split open on the side of the anus. I took them to the vet, antibiotics were given and a warm compress on the injury site four times a day.
Neither ever showed signs of discomfort or scooting along the floor but the one sometimes had a "foul" odour around his butt area.I would really take the little guy to the vet to get it checked out.
