I never imagined being in this situation, but my family needs to rehome our Chinese Crested Hairless, George. We live in New Orleans, Louisiana, but we are being transferred to China and cannot take George with us.

We have had George since June. He was living in a pretty terrible situation without proper care. He was skinny and covered with fleas, despite having very little hair for them to hide in. He has been neutered and is up to date on shots and heartworm meds. He is a sweet dog, but he does have a few issues. We took him in on his way to the pound, but we are not the best family for him. We have three small children who are not super gentle. George doesn't really like children, but will put up with them. He will snap when he's pushed and he also snaps at strangers. He is missing quite a few teeth, however, so he isn't able to hurt anyone. He is very bonded to me and growls when someone gets near me. He is crate trained, but he does sometimes have accidents in the house. I do think in a quieter and calmer house with less going on it would be a lot easier to notice when he needs to go out.

We really want to find him the best home possible before we make our move to China. Please let me know if your group is able to help rehome him.

You may email me at staci at m-o-r-g-a-n.com or call my husband, Jack, at 504 400 6114.

Thank you,

Staci Morgan
