There are many excellent high quality foods out there...Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba and the like are not amongst them. As you can see in some of my previous posts, I am a firm believer in no dogs, but especially Chinese Cresteds, need a totally grain free diet. I feed Natural Balance Sweet Potato/Fish and absolutely swear by it.
