 Hi. I am new here. I have a hairy hairless crested that I just adore. his name is Monkie. he was a present for my 14 year old daughter. We have had him for a year and a half now, but it feels like forever. He is just so darn adorable. I could easily buy one froma breeder, but I really would like to rescue one. I have a small rescue here at my house and I just love all animals. We have taken in 4 big horses, 2 mini horses, 1 jersey cow, several cats, countless dogs, a huge oscar fish, a water frog, 6 red eared turtles, 3 lizards and a mean quaker parrot. That does not include all the others that we find injured, rehabilitate then release into the wild. Right now we are caring for an injured grass snake. he is almost ready to release. I was a breeder of dogs, but just got too many rescues so the breeding stopped. Just rescue now. I am looking for a female (prefer spaded) hairless crested. She needs to be on the younger side so she can get used to my other animals and kids. I live in south central texas by houston so I need one in the area or at least in Texas. I thought I found one the other day in Houston. She was 1 1/2 years old adn was a chihuahua/crested. I ended up giving her to my mother because she just did not like all the chaos at my house. We live in the country with hardly no traffic so that is not an issue. Monkie loves us and he is just a hoot!!! I have 5 other dogs in the house too. I also have two cats taht I bottle raised in the house. If anyone can help me find my next baby I would greatly appreciate it. I have my own business and I take Monkie with me. I am a dog groomer so I only work about 3 days a week adn those are not full days. I dress him up in his cute little hollister clothes when we go to work. I have tried to put a bow in his hair, but he is jsut too manly for bows. That is why I want a little girl. Since I am a groomer, the hairless or hairy hairless suits me.
