Big problem with training is that my in-laws aren't capable of it (I know that sounds mean but it is so true). My personal dogs know they get one bark and then they have to stop unless it is important. They also know they have to stop when I tell them too, however we're dealing with older dogs who have years of barking their heads off ingrained into their behavior. Actually the father dog doesn't bark alot either (could be because it sounds funny, like a girly. He may be neutered but he likes to still act like he got his cahunas). The two other girls are coming around to our thinking about barking all the time so it can be done but it takes perserverence and consistency none of which the in-laws have.

Has anybody used any of the other forms of anti-barking products? My neighbors have one of those siren/sonic htings that goes off when they start barking but I think it is annoying. More than the barking even.
