Thanks for the advice...and about the allergies to grass...WHO KNOWS??!!?? We don't use chemicals on the lawn, so it's not that...but you're right, it may be a grass allergy. Lucky us. I think it may have shown up before now, though. And you should have seen her. Not a whimper from her, she was just calm as could be! She could barely see a thing, I'm sure!! It looked so uncomfortable. I'm new at this (have only had our dear Millie since the end of April), and now that you mention it, her paws did look "hot pink" at the same time her eyelids were a problem...I've been reading up on all the allergy info I can find, and many people have said this can be common with the breed, (hives and such), Soooo, I'll take your advice and use the non-chemical route. In the meantime, my chi/poodle cross, Walter, is lumbering along, without a care in the world...oh well! Thanks for all the help!
