I saddled up Dancer, after quartering her, and feeding Joy and Sunny. We went into the indoor arena, and practiced some dressage. She did very well, on her flying lead changes, and pirouettes at the trot and walk. We still need to practice shoulder-ins.
After I was done riding her, I cooled her out, and gave her a good grooming. Because it was chilly out, even in the barn, I put her paddock blanket on her.
Then I went to get Joy. She was kind of worked up, mostly from extra energy (the cool weather makes her very frisky), I saddled her up in my western pleasure saddle, and took her to the indoor arena. I worked her at the walk, jog and lope, and then took her through the poles, and barrels, that I had set up in the small outdoor arena.
Then, when I was happy, I put her back in the crossties, and groomed her. Then I gave Sunny and Dancer a second feeding.
I went out to indoor arena, and set up jumps, straights, spreads, and combonations. They were all 3'6" jumps and under. It took a while to get the distances right.
I saddled up Sunny, and took him into the ring. We walked, trotted and cantered around the outside of the course. When I decided that he was warmed up enough, I took him through the course. He cleared everything with room to spare, except the double oxer. We need to work on that combonation.
After I took him through 2 more times, I cooled him dowm, and then put him back in the crossties. I gave him an excellent grooming, and then put him back in his stall, with his second feeding. I went to get some hay, and put 2 flakes in Joy's, Sunny's, and Dancer's stalls.
I finished the morning by soaping all the tack that I used that morning.

Riding Time:
Me- 4 hours (6 am to 10 am)
Dancer- 1 hour
Sunny- 1 hour
Joy- 2 hours
I also cleaned my tack, which took until noon.
