Thanks for your reply.

Regarding the checksum error, I did nothing to prompt it. I just turned it on and the message appeared, then it proceeded to cycle through the memory test, over and over.

I pressed F2, entered the correct date, saved and exited. It then booted and worked correctly.

I am curious what will happen when I boot it up today for the first time. I have my fingers crossed.
