I just got a fax from ASE USA ...

They've stopped supporting Transmonde systems, warranty or no warranty.

I checked their website, and the Transmonde info link is gone, too ...

Not what I needed to start my day ...

PS - Anybody know where to get a replacement battery for a Vivante XL PII366 ... ?

PPS - Anybody looked at new laptops to replace their Transmondes ... ? I've got to be mobile & have a reliable system [don't we all?!] ... and I think it's time to bite the bullet and turn my Vivante into a spare desktop unit at home. [sfx - Very Dejected Sigh]
