Ok... recently, my Vivante SE has been hanging on boot up, just past the Maestro sound card init. It also gets into Win 98 and just hangs with the arrow/hourglass with a black screen occasionally. I am sure I don't want to know, but is my hard drive failing? Just this morning I came in after leaving it on all night (not in suspend mode) and I could not wake the hard drive at all. This is happening more and more frequently.

Also, anyone have any recommendations for where to go for upgrades for our babies? I still have my wonderful extended warranty... and I snagged some stuff from the "liquidation sale" a while ago, but now I am wondering about processors and hard drive (potentially).

And thanks for keeping this site and forum alive and well. I don't know what I would do without it...
