I just found out that ASE is no longer servicing
Transmonde laptops. As fate would have it my
laptop is exibiting problems after only one year.
The keyboard is fried. At least 7 keys do not
function anymore. Also the computer will not
begin to boot after power on until I flex the
base of the unit. Probably a loose connection
somewhere. Interestingly the LCD initially
lights up the half-shadded-ligtbulb until I flex
the base and then it goes out and begins booting.

Now to my question. Does anyone know where I
might get my laptop serviced? Does anyone know
where I might buy a new keyboard ( I could
install it myself )? Has anyone seen this
strange booting problem before?
