Wow! Almost exactly the same problem.
I have a Vivante SE. Have had it with great luck for nearly two years. Also a 233.
I have the same bad connection with the AC power supply. Have to jiggle it to keep it off the battery.
All of a sudden the system crashes constantly. I have had no problems after nearly 6 mos. with the bad connection. Sometimes everything locks up. Sometimes just suddenly reboots. The Mouse from USB port will automatically crash the system.
I was told the problem is probably a bad motherboard and it ain't worth fixin.
Are you guys saying this is most likely that bad AC connector? How do you fix that? Any help would be appreciated. I was told two yrs. is about it for a laptop and just forget it. Ideas most appreciated!
