It's good to hear about a successful repair story.

As far as I know, there is no way to "make" Windows report 100%. While the Windows battery meter is better than in previous versions (Win95, etc.), its still not exact. Mine usually varies between 94% and 98% when its fully charged. I don't think I have ever seen it at 100%.
