Yes on the battery life. The SE is a great setup
for me. I think one reason it was phased out
was that lots of Windows people want integrated drives.
For someone like me who doesn't ever use the floppy
or CD-ROM, integrated drives are a pain in the rear!
With the SE I can just put the Superdisk drive in
and have a larger battery rather than the floppy and
CD-ROM that I never use. Sad to see the SE go. :(

Although I'd much rather have the SE, the idea of
buying a used laptop computer sounds risky.

I think 13.3" is ideal. I don't know of a reason
to go larger unless your eyes get tired easily or
you want something to be seen from across a room.
