FWIW, the Transmonde's warranty is transferrable. Also, they
discontinued my Vibrant-166 almost a year and a half ago; but,
still have spare parts and honor the 48-hr turn-around policy.
They recent replaced my keyboard and PCMCIA slot. Therefore,
I feel confident buying a used Transmonde laptop -- provided
it's in good condition.
