Actually, this is not Win, nor DOS problem since the line is on even during POST, and while in SCU as well. So it looks more like a hardware problem, either LCD or controller's.

So now I have to decide whether I should live with it, or send it to ASE for repair that is risky too knowing so little of experiences with them.
