Well i remember how frank vella and myself put so much effort into marking out the ground one year....well as usual..someone has to do it.We paced around for a couple of hours with tape measure and a book with all the measurements and eventually pasadena had a beautifully marked ground ....we were quite happy with our effort....it looked great ....and we didnt lose a game there for 2 years....an uncanny home ground advantage...but it all came to an end when jack lynch flew to melbourne one day and came back with the news....he'd seen the ground from the air and it wasnt a rectangle________ at all......it was a trapezium...../______/ ....so..no more home ground advantage
