• She closed the door silently behind her, watching him a moment with unshed tears shining in her eyes. Leaving had been so hard. Kyrell had cried the whole way to the airport, as had she, and as they'd waited to board the plane she knew they wouldn't be getting on it. She could never have forgiven herself for ruining this again.
