Chakotay had been sitting on the bridge for the last 7 hours now, writing reports and preparing duty rosters for the coming weeks, he put down his Padd containing Ensign Samantha Wildman's report and smiled, Sam was going to be pleased with this chance at promotion. As his shift ended and Tuvok walked onto the bride he decided it was time for some fun on the holodeck, as he entered the Turbolift on the bridge his command was clear "deck 10, holodeck 1". The turbolift sped to it's destination and in a few minutes the doors had opened and Chakotay was standing in front of the Holodeck and he was instantly overwhelmed by a smell of burning, but he dismissed it as his imagination.

He raised his hand to his comm. badge and decided to invite B'Elanna for a game of Velocity, but after being told bluntly to 'shove off' because she was under so much work he decided to invite Naomi Wildman, he secretly enjoyed taking part in 'The Adventures of Flotter' but maintained to everyone else that it was only to let Sam have a rest.

As the doors to the Holodeck opened and the two walked in they were astonished and frightened by what they saw...
