Edge is seated backstage in front of a television screen. As the camera turns behind him we see he is watching the Hardcore Icons interview. He winces at the sight of the two guys using the barbed wire kendo stick on the young trainee. Just then Michael Cole walks in.
[Cole] Oh I'm sorry, I was looking for Syxx-Pac.
[Edge] Hey, he might be along soon.
[Cole] I see you're watching the Hardcore Icons promo.
[Edge] Yeah. Jeez, these two need to switch to de-caff. Look, I want to send a quick message out. Do you mind?
[Cole] Not at all.
[Edge] Right. Sandman, you looked pretty impressive out there against that young kid, hitting him with that kendo stick. Let me tell you something though. I am not some young kid, and you are'nt gonna have a kendo stick to smash me over the head with on Sunday night. You will need to out wrestle me. And quite frankly; I don't think you can do that to me. And if your little buddy Tommy decides to show up, I'm sure MY pal Syxx Pac will take care of him.
This tournament match will not be a street brawl, or a bar fight, this will be a wrestling match. And I promise you I will be at 100%. So you have to ask yourself, what will you do when you see me on the XPW screens, as a XPW superstar, and you sit here in MCWA with nothing more than your buddy Tommy Dreamer and a six pack of beer to keep you company?
A sobering prospect, I'm sure.

The un-characteristically serious Edge nods to Michael Cole, who then leaves. Edge switches the video back on and continues to watch it.
