In reply to: James 's message, "Dept of Education and FDA" on 22:51:16 11/06/00 Mon

1. Dept of Education. If there wasnt a federal program to ensure standarization of schools across the country, then when you went from FSU to GA, most of your credits wouldnt have counted. When Kelly went from CO to FL, she probley would have lsot most of her credits. It would fuck over every student who moved. Also, then a BS from FSU would mean dirt next to a BS in Boston. With a federal program, things are alike everywhere so everything is easily transferrable. There are still a few quirks but they are being worked out.

2. Fda topic. If drug companies make a killing is GOOD? How the hell do you figure? They wont make better drugs! They are greedy fucks. They will jack prices and then I wouldnt be able to afford drugs for my daughter and wife. Yeah, my medical is free but I still have to pay for them! Nothing will happen but prices skyrocketing and no one able to get medicine.

Dude... what the hell are you thinking?
